I had a miscarriage before I got pregnant with ZB. I was barely pregnant (found out and started to miscarry the same day!) and though we were TTC, I wasn't upset by it. You're right, I think many people aren't aware of how often it happens.

It makes me so angry to think back to my miscarriage and how alone I felt until all of the sudden, women were coming out of the woodwork to say, "Me too." I've been very vocal about my m/c and will continue to be, because that was a baby that we created and loved for the 9 weeks we knew her.
