Perusing through Plum Pretty Sugar's look book, I loved the seemingly soft, feminine designs and patterns that feature prominently on the designer's flowing robes and tunics. The free-flowing feel to these garments would make them ideal for moms-to-be to relax in and who wouldn't feel pretty at the hospital or after giving birth while recuperating at home in one of these numbers?
After giving your all through the pregnancy and birthing process, it gets so easy to lose yourself. Before getting lost in the lack of sleep and all of the daunting task of caring for a newborn, wouldn't it be nice to slip on one of these lovely numbers and feel pretty? These robes, tunics and tops have open designs which would make them ideal for nursing too. The price point is $65 and up but they look so worth it! I fell in love enough with the designer's classic and clean, almost Victorian feeling blog and so much so that I almost forgot about the lack of diversity of models throughout the blog site. As I've blogged about before, there is an increasing diversity among pregnant women in America who can afford nice things during their pregnancy and would appreciate seeing images of themselves by companies that target pregnant women.
You can purchase some of these pretty, frilly and feminine garments at Plum Pretty Sugar's Etsy shop!
