Review & Giveaway: Damo Momo Collection

From an entrepreneurial mother/daughter design team, Damo Momo creates some of the softest and comfortable maternity tops and dresses. I was sent a sample of a tiny infant tee (valued $9.99) from the marketing department of this Laguna Beach, California based company to sample the softness of the fabric used to create the line.

According to the company website, the line infuses the "casual, eco-friendly style of sunny California" and creates each piece from the line "from the fabric to the dyeing and printing process" using renewable environmentally friendly resources. I can dig that because I try to be green myself and ever since I heard of the term "organic clothing", I've made it a point to support makers of earth friendly lines whenever possible.

Personally, while I was pregnant, I tried to remain chic at all times. I felt I was doing my duty to promote the idea that being pregnant doesn't' mean you have to be frowzy, frumpy and dowdy for nine months. Granted, given that, I would normally avoid T-shirts and especially those with logos on them. I like the cinnamon bun on the tummy where the belly goes though it's not my style, per se. What I would wear is the jersey dresses like the Jack and Jill dress and the Mary and her Little Lamb dress which both are soooo California! But, because Jersey is one of the most forgiving and comfortable fabrics, I can appreciate stylish and breathable dresses as those sold by Damo Momo. They look like they would complement any body type and grow with a pregnant woman as her belly grows! Love it!

Without further ado, I'm pleased to let you know that Damo Momo is allowing a Bellyitch Reader to have her (or his if you are a dad looking out for your wife) pick of any outfit in their collection (up to $35.00 value).
