The two most popular diaper brands in the US are Pampers and Huggies. The Luvs brand which is much cheaper is a distant third.
Most people prefer one brand or the other. With my two boys we used and preferred Pampers because we found they leaked less. I spoke with moms of boys and they too validated me and also stated that they felt Pampers worked better for them. I spoke with moms of girls who said they prefer Huggies. So I thought it was a gender thing. Who knows.
However, after having like the 100th accident with Huggies and my baby girl, I'm convinced perhaps my babies bulloubopus brown bottoms don't hold up well in Huggies AT ALL!
And so we are back to Pampers. I really liked the Pampers Baby Dry brand, but can usually get excellent results with any Pampers brand.
Notwithstanding all of this, diapers in general are horrible on the environment because the materials they are made from take ages to biodegrade.
Good thing I hear girls potty train faster because my solution is to start GG potty training as soon as possible. I did entertain the idea of getting and using reusable "nappies" but I 'inixayed" that idea cause my girl has toxic caca that I just can't muster up the cohones to like regularly play in....ick!

And from Black Glenn whom I borrowed this above photo from, he has to say this as a comment to that photo:
Huggies. Suck. They are for skinny babies with no ass. My baby is fat and has a big ass. No thanks HuggiesHILARIOUS!!!

I had NO idea it was that serious about some pampers. LOL
The hospital gave us Huggies and a friend had generously bought us a big case of Pampers. Things seemed okay...until the mother of all diaper rashes wouldn't go away and it wasn't on his bottom. My poor little guy is actually allergic to Pampers. So, Huggies it is!
Funny! We use the Costco brand, which seems to work OK though we are getting more leaks now; I think because it's time to go up a size. But when you buy 144 diapers at a time you can't just change up on a whim.
