The one thing you must do before you give birth!

Find one song, any song, that you like. Could be soothing and mellow Bach overture or some upbeat Soca song or a saucy raucous merenge tune! Whatever floats your boat. Play it to your baby in utero and play it often. A good time to do this is in the car.

Without a doubt, you will be able to use that song to sooth the child when s/he cries and/or is uncontrollable and inconsolable (especially during long drives in the car) and even up until 10 months. We did it with all three kids. With my eldest it was Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. With my second son, it was calypsonian The Mighty Sparrow's Sugar Bum Bum. And GG will calm down in a second, even up to now at age 10 months, if she hears Bill Withers' Aint No Sunshine

I swear by this Trick! You'll be sorry if you don't do it. I think it will work wonders for collicky baby. It is the best for long car drives and especially for first time moms who would want to pull over in the highway to get out and hug their crying baby. ha!

This is a great tip. As someone who is expecting her first, it's definitely something that I never would have thought of. Thanks!

Keep up the great blogging.
