...on being able to mold this WILD CHILD into a prissy, frilly princess girly girl? The child is only 10 months old and her face is scratched up from so many topples and tumbles. She loves to climb and wrestle with her older brothers. She's not afraid of heights, being tossed and tossled about and she bounces back pretty easily when they push her down. I realize part of her "socialization" is from me too because most of her toys are hand me downs or current toys her brothers play with, and so I shouldn't be surprised that she would not care to play with her cousin's dolls and girly toys. She literally threw them aside to get to the collection of trucks, balls and cars in the same room. It's probably too soon to give up. I'm just biding my time until she's old enough for Ballet lessons! ha!*sigh* I keep thinking of NO DOUBT song, "I'm just a Girl" which starts with they lyric, "Take this pink ribbon off my eyes..."
Listen to the song and check the other lyrics here!
