surprise development

we've been in the habit of letting GG nap on a bed when we are hanging on the first floor of our home and we've been spoiled that she has the sense to not crawl over the edge....er...any longer. she stays put where we leave her and when she awakes, she usually wails until someone comes and collects her from bed...

...that was until this weekend, when my husband noticed her open the bedroom door and crawl right out after a nap! What da?!?!?

How she did she get down? She didn't fall. No one heard a thump or her cry from having toppled over? Hmmm??

Fast forward to this morning where she lay while we ran around frantically preparing her older brothers from school, I actually witnessed her (through a cracked door this time) crawl down off the bed backwards! Wow!

That girl is advanced!! She's not even 10 months old! Such a smart Girl! Yay GG!!

that means no more security for us, but oh well. Time to super Baby Proof the house I guess!

*sniff* she's growing too fast, wasn't she just born like yesterday? *sniff*
